“The name came about from my perspective and experiences in life and what I want to project out to the community keeping my coffee roots present,” says owner Christopher Trejo. “No matter your beliefs, ideologies, or preconceptions, at the end of the day we are all humans trying to survive and live to the fullest we can. Whoever you are, wherever you come from, or whatever you believe, you will always find common ground with us.”

Popular drink items at Common Grounds are lattes, which include The Lavender Vanilla Honey and The Salted Bourbon Caramel, and the Kyoto Cold Brew, which can also be ordered as mocktails. 

A majority of products, like the syrups, are made in-house; Trejo says that what “makes us unique and stand out is the way we pull our espresso as we pull ristretto espresso versus higher yield pulls most cafes practice.”
